Hello!
If you’re seeing this page it probably means you own a cool classic Sportsbike from the 80s to early 2000s and I might love to feature it in a small film project! Details below…
Film Goal: To capture sleek action footage of classic sportsbikes prepping and cruising at legal speeds and in a safe choreographed manner, often with a lead camera car or being tailed by one. Through the power of editing the footage will look fast and snappy. I’m looking for 3-6 riders with their bikes to participate. The footage will be used in an upcoming independent solo-developed game Bash Moto.
Requirements (Important):
- late 80s-2000s sportsbike. It must be insured, street legal, safe to ride.
- Must hold a full Class 6 motorcycle license.
- A full helmet with a visor that is either tinted or reflective to conceal face.
- Highly desired that you have a riding suit, but if not regular riding gear might work. The theme of this project is racing, so we need riders to look sporty, no denim or running shoes.
- Body build for this project: Athletic, lean, or medium build
Duration: 1 to 4 hours (varied time blocks) with lots of little breaks for camera setup and rigging safely mounted to your person or bike.
When?: It will be on a weekend. Aiming for late August.
Payment: Not only do you get some awesome 4k-video footage of you riding among some classic bikes, you will be paid $100 per hour in cash and there will be pizza afterwards.
Liability: In standard filming practice, you will be required to sign a waiver and release on the day of shooting to assume your own physical and mechanical risk.
